TECHNOLOGY FOR THE NEXT MILLENNIUM

The non-lethal AIR TASER is a powerful hand-held remote stun system. The AIR TASER uses a replaceable Air Cartridge module (1) that fires out two probes (2) up to 15 feet. These probes are connected to the AIR TASER power handle by high-voltage insulated TASER Wire (3). When the probes make contact with the target, 50,000-Volt TASER-WaveTM impulses transmit along the TASER Wire and into the perpetrator. These TASER-Waves (4) can penetrate through two cumulative inches of clothing, including leather.

SIMPLICITY FOR TODAY’S CHALLENGES

Easy to use, minimum training required

While the AIR TASER uses extremely advanced technology, it is simple to use: Simply pull back the safety slide (5) and press the trigger (6). The AIR TASER’s microprocessor (7) is programmed to administer a 30-second TASER-Wave discharge -- so you don’t have to worry about how long to hold down the button. Or, turn the unit on or off at your discretion. Because the AIR TASER transmits pulses into the nervous system, a hit anywhere on the body can be effective (see chart below). Thus, it is much easier to use than sprays or firearms which require a hit to a specific zone of the body. An optional laser sight (8) provides "day light" power laser illumination for pinpoint accuracy (and stronger deterrence). Yet, with all this technology, the AIR TASER requires no maintenance other than replacement of its 9-volt alkaline battery when the battery indicator [5] shows the battery is low.

The TASER is highly effective because the electrical signal penetrates the nervous system regardless of the placement of the probes.  The entire human body is covered by the neural net, which the AIR TASER uses to knock out the target.  Since the T-Waves can penetrate approximately two cumulative inches of clothing, the probes do not have to penetrate the flesh or cause bodily harm to be effective.

For a bullet to be instantly effective, it must hit a vital organ such as the heart or brain.  Similarly, chemical sprays or pepper sprays must hit an assailant in the face -- no easy task in fast moving confrontations.  And, in a windy environment, sprays can be blown back onto the user.  The AIR TASER can be used more effectively and with less training than other self-defense technologies.

The AIR TASER offers selective targeting capability without causing cross-contamination of other officers and innocent bystanders. In closed quarters, the AIR TASER gives you a nonlethal option which does not impair officers and allows for tactical operations without hindrance from chemical contamination. No other system can match the AIR TASER’s effectiveness and ease of use, particularly for use indoors (such as cell extractions) where chemicals can contaminate officers as well as suspects and inmates, or for use in security applications around expensive equipment (such as banks, casinos, or areas with electronics).
